When you wake up, you find yourself alone on the pier, confused and looking for answers. However, you have no guidance. All you have is a forked path back onto the island and a mysterious message. That's right; Shadows Peak does nothing to steer you toward your goal. In fact, you won't even know what your goal is until you've already finished roughly a third of the game! But, it's all worth because you've got that huge Island to explore, it's mysterious, it's intriguing, and it's scary, so you'll find yourself roaming it for a few hours till you find your answers.The Graphics aren't bad, they're mediocre at finest, reminds me of the old PS2 graphics, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The pros: Open-ended, Moody and mysterious, Encourages exploration.The cons: The animations need to be worked on, very simple puzzles, and the ending isn't the best.In the end of the day, do I recommend it? Yes, I do, especially on a sale, you'll get about 3 hours of fun from it, and it's one of a kind when it comes to the atmosphere and the exploration elements.. Found my gf's car and a dead guy....:sigh: .. not again... . ... maby the dude smashed her phone and she went all psycho... Went to look for my gf and ran into a big black postcard that chased me..... then gave me a vision of elvis..... took some health..... The voices in my head are very loud today.... same ol same ol "we need souls"..... "kill... kill"..... Found a camper calling out for her bf. Walked up to her to ask if i coud help and she freaks out... gets in her car..... and drives it into a fallen tree taller than my trailer.....so i ate her soul...... now i can run again,,,,,. Trailor is not what you get.. Alright I will give this a solid 7/10. Great looking game, creepy environment. But After 37 mins, Maybe even 30 minutes, the game was over. With a strange ♥♥♥♥ing ending.I like the open world style and if you do not follow the storyline you can spend more time exploring. I will recommend to buy and try it. But.. yeh.. do it.
